Fisherman’s Village is located in Bophut on the north of the island and is possibly the highlight of the area. Once an authentic Thai fishing village, it is now a charming promenade with a variety of sea-side restaurants, bars and shops.  There is also a good choice of spa boutiques.

Friday nights at Fisherman’s is Walking Street, a popular evening market where locals sell tasty Thai treats and other nice nibbles, arts, crafts, clothes, tasteful souvenirs and much more. Walking Street is the perfect place to do some gift shopping and practice your haggling skills. Bophut also has a shopping centre, The Wharf which can be found next to the Village or accessed from the ring road. The Hillside in Bophut is a good destination for families who are looking for a quiet, safe environment with less commercial night-life and is conveniently placed near to reach other popular areas on the north of the island.
