The Headland Villa 5

The Headland Villa 5 is the largest of the 5 villas that form the prestigious Headland estate,  located on the south west coast of Koh Samui in the sleepy and picturesque area of Taling Ngam. The villa occupies a prime beach front location and commands breathtaking views of the white  sand beach, the ocean, the neighbouring Five Islands and Angthong National Marine Park.

This impressive multi level property has a number of different indoor and outdoor living areas, each designed with the focus on relaxation and tropical living. A spacious lounge with large and comfortable sofas opens up through large sliding glass doors to a well kept garden and infinity edged swimming pool. By the side of this is a Thai sala (or pagoda) the perfect place to relax in the shade with a book, or admire the stunning mountain and sea views. The villa has a well appointed and modern kitchen with breakfast bar and an indoor and outdoor dining area. Up on the top level of the property is a TV room with comfortable sofas. The property features table football,  and other facilities include iPod docking stations, numerous wide screen tv’s, DVD players, satellite TV and wireless internet throughout.

The 4 bedrooms at the villa easily accommodate up to 8 guests. All bedrooms are fully air conditioned and have access to the outside terraces and gardens. 3 of the bedrooms have stylish and well appointed en-suite bathrooms and the villa also features a stand alone private outdoor bathtub.

To the front of the property is a staircase that leads down to a private white sand beach where guests can enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the ocean and the neighbouring islands. Just a 15 minute drive away is the vibrant area of Lamai Beach with a diverse mix of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and on Sunday night why not visit the Lamai walking street (street market)  where locals exhibit home made arts, crafts, clothes and tasty Thai nibbles.

Located on the peaceful south west coast of Koh Samui is Taling Ngam which translates to ‘beautiful shore’. Some might say that the area is the virgin coast of the island as it is much less developed than the likes of Lamai which is only a 15 minute drive away. If you have the patience and are lucky enough, you may spot pink dolphins swimming in the ocean here. Taling Ngam has an old Temple called ‘Wat Kiri Wongkaram’ meaning ‘mountainous temple’ which is the resting place of a mummified monk.
