Villa Issi

Villa Issi is a uber contemporary 4 bedroom villa located in the area of Seminyak on Bali’s south west coast. The property, which some might describe as a marvel of modern architecture, has a minimalist style both inside and outside which seems to evoke feelings of calm and serenity.

On arrival, perhaps the most notable feature is an impressive metallic shield which wraps around the top of the villa. This not only serves to cool the interior of the property but also helps to create an interesting artistic ambience, as the sun casts its shadow around the various corners of this modern retreat. The villa has an indoor living area with large and comfortable sofas and a 55″ wide screen TV and satiate channels. Floor to ceiling glass doors lead from the lounge to the outdoor living areas and garden. There is also a formal dining room with table to seat 12 and a stylish designer kitchen with state of the art appliances and large American style fridge freezer. In keeping with the warm tropical climate, the villa also has a good choice of outdoor spaces in which to relax. Next to a 25m swimming pool and hardwood sundeck is a shaded BBQ area with a solid wood table. Surrounding this are neatly manicured lawns and landscaped gardens that are partially shaded by a mixture of different trees and plants. There is also a sunset deck with connects to a veranda that runs round half of the property.

The master suite is located on the top floor and has dark hardwood flooring. In keeping  with the rest of the villa, it has a minimalist style with an indoor/outdoor bathroom featuring a bathtub and two showers. The room, which is designed to induce calm and relaxation, has a concealed TV that appears by remote control. A second bedroom on the top floor can also be used as a study and has a beautifully appointed en suite. Both rooms are air conditioned and feature various pieces of modern artwork. The ground floor rooms are both housed in a self contained single story guest house. Both have garden bathrooms with tubs and showers and both have king size beds and 3″ TVs.

Services at the villa include a villa manager, private chef and in-house menu, including a children’s menu, with a choice of Western and Asian cuisine. Services include housekeeping, a butler, and security. A massage and babysitting service are also available on request. Amenities and features include numerous TVs and DVD players, satellite TV, iPod docking stations, Bose sound system and wireless internet, and not least a massage room and gym, also with TV.

For those who appreciate calm, sophisticated and ultra modern living, Villa Issi is a very good choice. Its 1500 square metres provide more than enough space for a large family or group of friends. It’s sought after location in the upmarket area of Seminyak is within minutes of the ocean.

The district of Seminyak is located a few kilometres north west of Kuta. The area is well positioned for Bali’s main shopping centres and tourist attractions. A long white sand beach is frequented in the day time by sun worshippers and surfers and has a choice of surf schools to cater for every level of ability. In the evenings, Seminyak Beach is a popular meeting place for locals and expats who enjoy a drink at sunset. The area is famous for its vibrant party scene and fine dining venues, and has perhaps the best beach clubs and top end restaurants in Bali as well as a high volume of spas and fashion boutiques. But it’s not only exclusive shopping, partying and sea side activities that are on offer here in Seminyak, there is also a great choice of sporting activities including the Nirwana Golf Club, various riding stables and the Canggu club which has a modern well equipped gym, a 25m swimming pool and tennis and squash courts.
