Akuvara is a 4 bedroom contemporary villa is situated directly on the beach on the peaceful south coast of Koh Samui. Here guests can enjoy a modern and elegant holiday experience and breathtaking tropical sunsets. Throughout the villa, natural materials have been used to create a soothing and organic environment and every care has been taken to ensure that a comfortable holiday experience can be enjoyed.

To the front of the property overlooking the beach is an expansive terrace with plenty of sun loungers and parasols and a swimming pool. This area, which is complete with alfresco dining table, and a sala with day beds that face towards the ocean, leads to a spacious lounge with large sofas and a widescreen TV with surround sound system. This modern and spacious lounge enjoys ocean views through floor-to-ceiling glass doors that run the width of the room. Behind this a stylish European style kitchen that also provides fantastic sea views. The villa has another separate dining room with table to seat 8 guests. On the second floor the main living pavilion is an impressive mezzanine lounge with comfortable sofas that face towards the ocean. This room has been specifically designed to maximise the enjoyment of the stunning ocean vista and makes it the perfect place to relax with a drink while admiring the sun setting over the ocean.

To the rear of the property is the first of the bedrooms, a king size, self contained, en-suite room with kitchenette and sitting area. The second two immaculately presented en-suite rooms can be found towards the centre of the property, both with TV and an extensive selection of music and movie channels.  Finally the master suite, with its well-appointed ensuite bathroom and an LCD wide screen TV, complete with music and movie selection, is located to the front of the property and enjoys uninterrupted views of the ocean.

Features and amenities at the villa include a kids room with TV and suitable movie selection, sea kayaks, multiple indoor/ outdoor lounge areas, wireless internet throughout the property and helpful and attentive staff.

One of the quieter areas on the island of Koh Samui is Lipa Noi, which is located on the west coast. A white sand beach with coconut palms and the perfect water for swimming can be enjoyed here. This side of the island has fantastic sunsets and views of Anthong National Marine Park. The area is home to the world famous Nikki Beach club which hosts many exclusive parties and events. A good selection of restaurants and bars offers a diverse choice of cuisine although Lipa Noi is still relatively undeveloped as is much of this side of the island. Nanthon the capital of Koh Samui is only a 5 to 10 minute drive from Lipa Noi and is a great place for practising your bargaining skills in the local shops and stalls. Nathon also has a major port with boats leaving to the mainland.
