The ground floor is a spacious open plan living and dining area along with a fully equipped guest kitchen. To the rear is the service kitchen and laundry room. The breezy area opens onto the pool deck and overlooks the 16 meter infinity edge swimming pool. Off the living area is the media room with 32-inch TV and DVD player. Adjoining the media room is the air-conditioned gym with a running machine, stationary bike, weight bench and a separate massage room.
The top floor houses another airy living area with modular seating, 50-inch TV, DVD player, bar counter and a bathroom (can be set up as the fourth bedroom if necessary). The air-conditioned master bedroom is spacious, has a large dressing room and ensuite bathroom with a bathtub, shower and two washbasins. Two guest bedrooms are air-conditioned and ensuite. All bedrooms feature 32-inch TVs, DVD players, bar-fridges, safe deposit boxes and open onto private balconies overlooking the garden and the pool.
Shinta Dewi Ubud offers plenty of outdoor space to its guests. You can enjoy a walk in the beautiful garden, relax on sun loungers and beanbags at the poolside or read a book in the shade of the cushioned Bale.
The friendly staff will ensure that their guests’ every whim is met and satisfied.
Ubud is a culturally interesting village, located inland not far from Denpasar. Many local and foreign artists, stone masons, wood sculptors and silver smiths reside and work here and in the neighbouring smaller villages, making it a popular destination for art enthusiasts, collectors and those with a general interest interest in arts and crafts. There is also a big yoga community here with lots of yoga centres offering tuition. The Sukawati Royal Family own a palace in the village, which is open to the public and definitely worth a visit. Another popular place to visit is the sacred monkey forest, where visitors can take an enchanted walk through the forest while observing and interacting with the monkeys. The beautiful rural landscape is predominately made up of rich green rice fields and forested areas interspersed with winding rivers, ancient temples and palaces.
