Villa Marie, Pandawa Cliff Estate

The Pandawa Cliff Estate is a collection of four luxury villas that form an exclusive estate in Bali Indonesia, one of which is the superb, six bedroom Villa Marie. Located high on the cliff tops with breathtaking views of the ocean, the villa offers privacy and space while still being within easy reach of some of the island’s main attractions such as the temple of Ulawatu and the exclusive eateries and fine dining restaurants of Nusa Dua and Jimbaran.

A central living area, large BBQ bale and 17m swimming pool are surrounded by six immaculately appointed bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, four of which are located together in a two story building and the two master suites separately in their own individual stand alone pavilions.  The large T shaped pool, enjoys direct views over the ocean and is enclosed by a large sun deck complete with plenty of sun loungers, outdoor sofas and parasols, next to which is an alfresco lounge and dining table, the ideal place to relax with family and friends and enjoy meals prepared by your private chef.

Villa Marie offers an extensive range of facilities with the intention of allowing guests to relax and unwind in whatever fashion they desire. Whether it’s a leisurely walk around the beautifully landscaped gardens, a poolside party and BBQ or maybe a gym session or game of squash or tennis, it can all be enjoyed at the Pandawa Estate. Other facilities include wireless internet throughout, wide-screen TVs with blu-ray players and satellite channels, baby cots and high chairs and two seven seater cars with booster seats for the little ones. The Bukit, which translates in English to ‘hill’, is a limestone region situated at the southernmost point of Bali. Once mainly inhabited by fisherman and seaweed farmers, it is now arguably one of the most prestigious area on the island. Visitors can expect to find top end resorts, exclusive villas, boutique hotels and restaurants, and one of Asia’s top golf clubs,  making the area an attractive choice for those seeking a luxury lifestyle. Although Bukit has seen recent development, the area is still surprisingly unspoilt with a landscape rich in flora and fauna, beautiful beaches and interesting and diverse aquatic life. At certain times of the year, those lucky enough may get a glimpse of migrating whales, and turtles can often be seen swimming in the crystal clear waters close to the shore. The coastline is popular with sun worshippers and surfers and has many small and often unfrequented coves, ideal for those who simply want to relax undisturbed close to the ocean. However, one should always be aware that rip-tides can be dangerous in Bali and some beaches are not safe to swim.
