Villa Camille

Located on the hillside in the area of Laem Set and overlooking the lush green jungle and beyond that the ocean and neighbouring islands of Koh Tan and Koh Matsum is Villa Camille, a modern and spacious 4 bedroom luxury villa. A contemporary Thai style can be enjoyed at the villa which has excellent facilities, wonderful views and a truly tropical setting.

A large split-level main living area features a lounge and a dining table to seat 8 guests. This area also has a well equipped European style kitchen for those who enjoy cooking and entertaining. Traditional Thai artefacts and artwork adorn the lounge, which leads seamlessly through large glass sliding doors to a huge terrace with yet more comfortable places to relax and enjoy a drink at sunset. Next to this is the swimming pool with incredible views of the ocean and islands.

The four bedrooms at Villa Camille are all fully air-conditioned  and tastefully furnished with soft and neutral tones and large luxurious beds to ensure a good night’s rest. The bedrooms all have well appointed en-suite bathrooms and all lead to the terrace with seating, coffee tables and views of the pool and beyond that, the ocean.

Features, services and amenities at the villa include a daily maid, 2 staff, a private chef, private parking, CCTV, BBQ, wine cellar, hot tub and wireless internet throughout the property.

This side of the island is known for its natural beauty and picturesque coastline.  It’s generally much less frequented than most areas on Koh Samui, making it the perfect choice for those who appreciate privacy and peace and quiet.

Laem Set and Laem Sor are two closely situated areas which can be found on the most southern point of Koh Samui. Both have a quiet and relaxed pace of life, and make ideal destinations for families or those wishing to escape the more heavily populated tourist hotspots such as Chaweng Beach and Lamai. Beautiful sunsets and striking scenery can be enjoyed here as this part of the island is relatively undeveloped and retains much of its natural beauty. There are a number of popular attractions here, including a butterfly farm, tiger zoo, an aquarium, snake farm and waterfalls with rock pools which are located in the jungle and are best visited in the rainy season. The Laem Set Pagoda is another good place to visit, an impressive golden coloured Temple on the southern most point of the island. The picturesque contrast of the emerald green ocean and the golden temple attracts many visitors. The area also has a few picnic tables and is a nice place to relax and have lunch. The busier and more developed Lamai is around a 15 minute drive from both Laem set and Laem Sor.
