A perfect family getaway, the newly built Villa Belong Dua sits on 1,600 square meters of land in the small fishing village of Seseh on the southwest coast of Bali. The enchanting villa comprises of five elegant pavilions, positioned in accordance with ancient cosmology and offers a harmonious blend of traditional architecture, Balinese Hinduism and contemporary interiors and high end facilities.

The open-sided living pavilion with high vaulted roof is tastefully furnished and overlooks the beautiful garden and 20 meter long swimming pool with a relaxation Bale at the side. Behind the living area is an air conditioned media room fitted with an LCD flat-screen satellite TV, DVD player, iPod with three docking stations and book collection. The spacious dining area features an antique table for six and is cooled by ceiling fans.

The villa’s two king sized bedrooms are housed in stand-alone pavilions and are very romantic. Each bedroom is fitted with air conditioning, LCD satellite TVs, DVD players and iPod docks. Beyond tasteful décor, each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with sculptured terrazzo bathtub, double washbasins and glass doors leading to alfresco area with outdoor rain shower.

Seseh Tanah Lot is a Balinese village, situated on the coast a few kilometres away from Canggu. Customs from earlier times are still practised here and visitors to the area can experience a taste of traditional Balinese culture, courtesy of the friendly and welcoming locals. Tanah Lot Temple, a magnificent sea temple carved out of the rock, attracts a lot of visitors. Its magical appearance, especially at sunset provides outstanding photo opportunities and makes the temple one of the most popular historical sites in Bali. For those wishing to pursue a less commercial holiday experience and aren’t particularly concerned by the lack of infrastructure, Seseh Tanah Lot is a good choice. Although there are not many shops and western style restaurants to be found, visitors have the chance to experience traditional food in some of the local restaurants. An added bonus is the nearby 72 hole, Nirwana Bali Golf Club.
