Villa Bayuh Sabbha

Bayuh Sabbha is located high on the cliff top overlooking the Bukit Peninsula. This superb Balinese luxury villa is set amongst 3 acres of beautiful tropical gardens. Pristine lawns, frangipani trees and bougainvilleas create a sublime contrast to the rich blue colour of the Indian Ocean. The property is divided into two sections, the first of which is the main villa which houses 3 double bedrooms and a further two bedrooms can be found in the guest house which is also part of the Estate.

The style throughout the villa is traditionally Balinese with luxurious marble floors, limestone terraces and teakwood floors are beautifully crafted together to create this elegant hilltop holiday home. Classic artwork and interesting accent pieces adorn the walls and various corners of the extensive living and dining areas. The main living space is a spectacular open walled, marble floored lounge with large sofas. This area leads directly to an infinity edged swimming pool and sun terrace with sun loungers  parasols and beyond this, incredible views of the ocean. The villa has a formal dining room with a large table where guests can choose tasty cuisine from an Asian, Western and Japanese menu, lovingly prepared by the private chef. Other living areas include an air conditioned TV room, a shaded Bale with a large and comfortable day bed positioned towards the sea and a chill-out deck with sumptuous Thai cushions.

The large master suite occupies the entire top floor of one of the villa’s pavilions and features a private veranda and large teak and glass doors. It has a superb king size bed, comfortable sofa, a writing desk and spacious dressing room. The suite is fully air conditioned with en suite bathroom boasting a jacuzzi tub, double vanity units and windows which open at both sides to allow a gentle tropical breeze to circulate. The two guest rooms in the villa are both air-conditioned and have en suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, bathtubs and gardens. One of the rooms boasts a large four poster bed and the other has twin beds. Both rooms have a private terrace with calming views. The final two bedrooms are located in the guest house, which has a charming thatched roof, beautiful views and its own living room overlooking the second swimming pool. There is also a self contained kitchen and guest bathroom. Both rooms are an unusual circular shape and have king size beds, dressing rooms and garden bathrooms with circular tubs and alfresco showers. The guesthouse is air conditioned throughout.

Services at Bayuh Sabbha include a villa manager, maid service, a private chef and assistant cook and private security. As well as the team of friendly staff the villa has excellent amenities which include an 18m and 14m swimming pool, BBQ’s, a gym, tennis court, a children’s playground, satellite TV and DVD players, Bose surround sound system, iPod docking station, CD players and wireless internet.

The Bukit, which translates in English to ‘hill’, is a limestone region situated at the southernmost point of Bali. Once mainly inhabited by fisherman and seaweed farmers, it is now arguably one of the most prestigious area on the island. Visitors can expect to find top end resorts, exclusive villas, boutique hotels and restaurants, and one of Asia’s top golf clubs,  making the area an attractive choice for those seeking a luxury lifestyle. Although Bukit has seen recent development, the area is still surprisingly unspoilt with a landscape rich in flora and fauna, beautiful beaches and interesting and diverse aquatic life. At certain times of the year, those lucky enough may get a glimpse of migrating whales, and turtles can often be seen swimming in the crystal clear waters close to the shore. The coastline is popular with sun worshippers and surfers and has many small and often unfrequented coves, ideal for those who simply want to relax undisturbed close to the ocean. However, one should always be aware that rip-tides can be dangerous in Bali and some beaches are not safe to swim.
