Umalas-Kerobokan is a peaceful and relaxed area which is located between Canggu and Seminyak and near enough to both these areas not to feel too isolated. The landscape is made up of mainly rice fields which stretch for miles with a picturesque mountainous backdrop that blends into the skyline. Although still relatively undeveloped, Kerobokan does have a few supermarkets and shops, sports facilities, gyms and spas. In recent years a cafe culture has started to emerge, with a number of interesting cafes serving good quality western food at reasonable prices.
