Sanur Residence

The extensive 9 bedroom estate Sanur Residence is hidden amidst green rice fields in the south east of Bali and just a few steps from the beautiful Padang Galak Beach. A mixture of modern and traditional Balinese style, the impressive and grand residence comprises of three individual and private  villas, overlooking the ocean, emerald rice paddies and manicured lawns with lovely water features. Each villa is absolutely unique in character and features three bedrooms, its own living and dining area along with a fully equipped kitchen. Furnished in minimalistic style, the villas are exceptionally spacious, elegant and adorned with stunning Balinese artefacts and modern artworks.

All nine bedrooms are generously sized and air conditioned. Seven bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and two bedrooms in Villa 2 share a bathroom with stand alone shower.

Let the stresses of everyday life melt away as you cool off in the huge 23 m infinity swimming pool, soak in the sun on the large deck with loungers and umbrellas, relax in the traditional Bale while taking in spectacular views to the ocean and neighboring islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. Or just follow the boardwalk leading through the rice fields to the beach and enjoy cool breezes and mesmerizing whisper of the waves.

Sanur is located on Bali’s south-east coast around 16 kilometres from the airport in Denpasar. Visitors to this sleepy village can expect attractive beaches with a good choice of relaxed restaurants and bars. Although compared to the likes of more developed areas, such as Kuta, Sanur is now itself fairly well developed and the area has a number of supermarkets, souvenir shops, boutiques, spas and the newly built Grand Bali Beach Golf Club.

Several kilometres east of Sanur is Ketewel. This scenic and picturesque area is an amalgamation of a number traditional Balinese fishing villages. After the construction of the Klungkung bypass a number of years ago many areas of natural beauty became easier to access. Expect black sand beaches, and spectacular views across to the islands of Penida,  Lembongan and Ceningan as well as Nusa Dua and Sanur.
