The 4 pavilions of Ban Laem Sor are positioned around a large sun terrace and swimming pool. Tropical gardens and a well kept lawn are fronted by a white ribbon of sand and beyond that the turquoise waters of Laem Sor Beach. Coconut palms dance in the island breeze giving one a real sense of paradise.

The combination of interior and exterior living spaces creates a home which is perfectly suited to the climate and really makes the most of the hot tropical climate. Spacious and airy rooms that open fully through large folding doors provide relaxing and shaded comfort. 4 well appointed and comfortable bedrooms are all fully air-conditioned and feature either views of the gardens and pool or sea views. 2 of the bedrooms have king size beds and ensuite bathrooms with the third room offering a double and a single bed and the fourth room featuring twin beds. Bedroom 3 and 4 share an ensuite bathroom.

Just a 15 minute drive away is the vibrant area of Lamai Beach with a diverse mix of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs, and on Sunday night why not visit the Lamai walking street (street market) where locals exhibit home made arts, crafts, clothes and tasty Thai nibbles.

Laem Set and Laem Sor are two closely situated areas which can be found on the most southern point of Koh Samui. Both have a quiet and relaxed pace of life, and make ideal destinations for families or those wishing to escape the more heavily populated tourist hotspots such as Chaweng Beach and Lamai. Beautiful sunsets and striking scenery can be enjoyed here as this part of the island is relatively undeveloped and retains much of its natural beauty. There are a number of popular attractions here, including a butterfly farm, tiger zoo, an aquarium, snake farm and waterfalls with rock pools which are located in the jungle and are best visited in the rainy season. The Laem Set Pagoda is another good place to visit, an impressive golden coloured Temple on the southern most point of the island. The picturesque contrast of the emerald green ocean and the golden temple attracts many visitors. The area also has a few picnic tables and is a nice place to relax and have lunch. The busier and more developed Lamai is around a 15 minute drive from both Laem Set and Laem Sor.
