Baan Tamarind is an impressive five bedroom villa which overlooks the golden sands of Bangrak Beach. Set within its own tropical gardens this classic luxury villa accommodates up to 12 guests. The property is located on the north east shore of Koh Samui with magnificent views of neighbouring island Koh Phangan.

A blend of indoor and outdoor living areas create the perfect holiday environment and really make the most of the warm and tropical climate. The main living area with its high vaulted wooden ceilings and wall to wall folding doors has an airy and calming feel to it and makes a great place to relax and entertain. To one end of the room are comfortable sofas which face towards a wide screen TV and next to this is a stylish red pool table! To the other end of this impressive living space is a large wooden dining table. Beyond this is a well equipped and modern kitchen that can be separated from the lounge and dining room with sliding glass doors. The five bedrooms at the villa are all immaculately presented and are fully air-conditioned with well appointed en-suite bathrooms.

Guests can enjoy lazy days by the pool followed by Alfresco sunset cuisine prepared by their private chef. Other features include a private massage table, satellite T.V., WIFI,  24 hr house keeping and security.

The property is only 5 minutes drive to the charming Fisherman’s village and 15 minutes drive to Chaweng Beach, with a plethora of restaurants, shops and nightlife. For those who like a round of golf, the Santiburi golf course is also just a 15 minute drive away.

Situated on the north of Koh Samui between Bophut and Plai Laem and Choeng Mon is Bangrak. A golden sand beach stretches from Fisherman’s village all the way to Big Buddha Temple and most areas are suitable for swimming with excellent views of the island of Koh Phangan. The area has a number of piers that operate boat trips to the mainland, Koh Phangan and other islands. The airport is also located nearby.

Bangrak is home to the impressive Big Buddha Temple which houses a huge golden Buddha that stands high and can be seen from miles away. The temple is positioned on a small island which is joined to Koh Samui by a short causeway and is visited by thousands of tourists every month. Bangrak has a livelier and more colourful night life than the areas that surround it but is still quiet in comparison to Chaweng or Lamai. The village also has a traditional Thai market, selling fish, seafood, fresh produce, fruit, veg and spices and makes for an interesting visit.
