A good selection of restaurants and bars offers a diverse choice of cuisine although Lipa Noi is still relatively undeveloped as is much of this side of the island. Nanthon the capital of Koh Samui is only a 5 to 10 minute drive from Lipa Noi and is a great place for practising your bargaining skills in the local shops and stalls. Nathon also has a major port with boats leaving to the mainland.
