Villa Voyage

Located on the small island of Nusa Lembongan not far from Bali’s east coast is Villa Voyage. This incredibly stylish 5 bedroom luxury Villa was designed by Farah Khan with the aim of creating a barefoot luxury holiday home. The property, which is situated only minutes away from a beautiful white sand beach offers guests a truly tropical retreat with stunning views of the ocean.

Although the villa obviously has a very contemporary appearance, there is also  timeless appeal throughout, which is reflected in an abundance of organic materials such as coconut wood flooring, teakwood furniture and worldly vintage artefacts. The main interior living space is an impressive open plan area with high vaulted ceilings and a wall of glass doors. This expansive room features a comfortable lounge with unspoilt sea view, a 60 inch wall mounted plasma TV and 2 teakwood dining tables. The villa also has a fully equipped chefs kitchen. This luxurious and expansive lounge-dining room has a mezzanine which can be accessed via a hardwood staircase and leads to the second floor. One side of the room leads seamlessly to a large sun terrace with shaded alfresco lounge, alfresco dining area and swimming pool with sun loungers and pool side beanbags. From here a lush green lawn and landscaped gardens is all that separates you from the beach. The other side of the room leads to the garden and driveway which is enclosed by tropical vegetation and woodland.

The Voyage master suite, a safari themed room with queen size bed, leads directly onto the pool deck. It features a dressing room, 40inch plasma TV and en suite with double vanity units, alfresco shower and terrazzo bathtub. The villas other 4 suites are located in various places around the Villa, all have beautifully appointed en suites some of which have terrazzo bathtubs others with private alfresco showers. The Garden Suite leads to a private courtyard while the Pavilion Suite stands alone with ocean view.  All the bedrooms are fully air conditioned with ceiling fan.

Services at Villa Voyage include a villa manager and operations manager, a butler, a private chef, housekeeping service and security services. Massage and spa treatments and a babysitting service can be arranged at an extra charge. The villa has fantastic amenities which are not only limited to the villa but also available for guests to use outside of the villa. A luxury buggy is provided for airport transfers and a jukung outrigger boat is also available for hire with a 3 hr trip included in the price. The villa has numerous wide screen TVs in the living spaces and bedrooms, Apple TV, DVD players and a movie collection. There is wifi throughout the property,  iPod docking stations, indoor and outdoor speakers and plenty of games and books to keep guests entertained.

Nusa Lembongan is a small island situated around 12 km south east of Bali. The island is very undeveloped compared to the mainland with only a small number of cars, the main mode of transport being scooter and bicycle. For those wishing to escape the commercialism of a popular modern resort, Nusa Lembongan is a very good choice. The island is firmly on the map as one of the worlds top diving destinations with its interesting and diverse aquatic life and crystal clear water, and there are also a few popular surfing breaks. Roughly 8 km2 in total, the islands natural landscape features idyllic white sand beaches, limestone cliffs and mangroves to the north of the island. Popular tourist attractions include seaweed farms, a visit to one of the island’s biggest villages known as Jangut Batu and also the impressive white sand Mushroom Bay.
