Villa Sila  is a large luxury villa situated on the idyllic tropical island island of Koh Samui and overlooks the beautiful Maenam Beach which in recent years was voted one of the best beaches in Asia.

Seven magnificent en suite bedrooms, complete with air conditioning, ceiling fan, wide screen TVs and mini bar fridges provide stylish and well designed accommodation for up to 14 guests. Children staying at Villa Sila have use of their own en suite bunk room with a 40 inch wide screen TV. Throughout this spacious property it is obvious that a lot of careful thought and planning has gone into the design and build, with interior and exterior living areas blending seamlessly to make wonderful use of the warm climate. Beyond the outdoor lounge is a stretch of manicured lawn and infinity pool that overlooks the beach where guests can relax and admire the warm red glow of the tropical sun setting over the ocean. A private chef is on hand to prepare your favourite cuisine served underneath a traditional Thai sala (pagoda) next to the swimming pool and overlooking the sea. The villa also has a large modern BBQ area and a very well equipped kitchen. Set amongst the picturesque landscaped gardens of Villa Sila there is a large four poster massage bed, the perfect place to experience a Thai massage while listening to the sound of the waves or relaxing to your favourite music on the outdoor sound system with iPod docking station. Other features include a home theatre room, satellite TV, Apple TV, DVD players, numerous wide screen televisions, and wireless internet access throughout. The villa also has the use of a shared fitness centre for those who can still find the time to keep fit!

Nearby you can find the Santi Buri PGA golf club and tennis courts and on Thursday evenings why not experience Maenam walking street where locals exhibit home made local arts and crafts, clothes, delicious nibbles and many other delights! Just a 25 minute drive away is the famous Chaweng Beach and a wide selection of shops, restaurants and nightlife including the new Central Plaza shopping centre.

Maenam is located on the north coast of Koh Samui. Maenam Beach has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere with golden sand and an abundance of coconut palms which give it a very tropical feel. Situated only a few minutes walk from the ring road, but just far enough away to not hear the traffic, it is both quiet and conveniently accessed.

Views of the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan can be enjoyed from the beach which is widely considered to be one of the finest on the island. From the main road, smaller streets with a diverse mixture of restaurants, bars and shops lead down to the sea, which is usually calm and suitable for families with young children.

Thursday night is Maenam’s Walking Street, an evening market where locals offer delicious food, home-made crafts, artwork, top quality souvenirs and other goods. The Chinese Temple also makes an interesting place to visit, especially on the Chinese New Year when you can watch an exciting traditional Dragon Show. For those who enjoy a round of golf or game of tennis, the Santiburi PGA Golf Club and tennis courts are located in the lush green hills of Maenam with a spectacular view of the ocean.
